Halo 3: Recon
So it’s been a few days since I last updated, and it’s also been a couple days into the Tokyo Game Show 2008. While I’ve been busy playing WipEout HD, Home, and the LittleBigPlanet Beta, Bungie has finally announced their next project titled “Halo 3: Recon”.
Some things to know about the game:
New Hero. No Master Chief in this installment.
New Campaign. Obviously.
More of a stand alone, expansion pack.
Multiplayer will have new maps, but no new modes or changes to the formula.
Takes place during the events of Halo 3.
You are a vulnerable space marine, meaning you can’t blast your way from checkpoint to checkpoint like in Halo 3.
Not a Squad-based shooter.That being said, I’m currently indifferent about the title, but surely Bungie will attempt to secure preorders, in the coming months. This title is set to ship in Fall of ‘09.
